Witness appeal following sexual assault in Aldershot

We are appealing for witnesses and information following a report of a sexual assault in Aldershot. 

Officers received a report that a woman in her 30s was approached by a man unknown to her on Alison’s Road at around 11.30pm on Saturday 11 July. 

The man kissed the woman, pulled her hair and punched her in the chest. The woman was able to run away from the man and was later taken to hospital to receive treatment for a broken finger, concussion, bruising and scratches.  

The man has described as being white, aged between 20 and 30, 6ft tall, of medium build with light brown hair. He was wearing a blue England football shirt. 

Please be reassured that we are taking this report extremely seriously and there will be an increased police presence in the area as officers carry out enquiries.
